No idea on hours as it’s reading 4500. I picked it up last year as a trade in off a dealer. Doesn’t look like it’s been round the clock so guessing hours clock has either been replaced or stopped working at some point. Head doesn’t look like it’s been off. Not sure how to check the water pump is...

Hi all, got a jd 2040s pushing water out the top of the radiator within a minute of being started up. Definitely a head gasket issue or is there anything I should be ruling out first?

Tried a few of the suggestions and nothing worked, so I got frustrated and followed spin cycle advice and piped it straight to the tractor. Baling now finished for another year 🙌

Now there’s an idea! Can I literally just plug them into a double acting spool on the tractor or do I need some sort of restrictor valve?

Can anyone help out with this, JD round baler tying arm not engaging. If you lift the tail gate up it sounds like it trips, but the arm itself doesn’t swing round. Same thing with the manual trip on the rope. There’s oil and pressure in the pump. Problem seems to be the little ram in the photo...

Right folks, I seem to be having trouble with salesman getting back to me about a water pump. Can anyone on here point me in the right direction? I need a submersible pump, 230v, to pump 600m, 40m head through 32mm pipe. It’s going from one tank to another. TIA
