I'm struggling to tell what a reasonable purchase price is for certain breeds. Namely Shetlands, Hebs etc for my "nice to look at" sheep but then also want something commercial too. I'm after another 15 or so ewes/ewe lambs but don't know what is reasonable and what is ridiculous.

They're incredibly adaptive. I was having lots of surgery at the time we got him and he helped me through it. Felt if he can manage on 3 legs then I can manage with knackered ankle, prosthetic wrist and a rareish illness. if I was a sheep I'd have culled myself :LOL:

I hate owners that do that, pushing for unnecessary ops that won't improve the pet's QoL. Same for the supervet stuff, I mean what he does is great, but at what cost to the animal involved.
