Yes sold.

There won’t be many short of fodder now. Plenty got big 3rd cuts. And wheat straw back down too £88 a ton at carlisle on Monday.

@Forage Trader the things have gone been too many doing it for 70/80p and buggered it up. Be a lot near here still on that price

£1.10 farmer provides labour shed and silage. Owner provides straw and hard feed.

Wanting to mix straw with silage for wintering heifers. Just wondering how much. Silage was very young grass so will skitter them. Was thinking something like. 3 kg straw 16kg silage 2kg of rearer cake 18%. Would this be sufficient for bulled dairy heifers. Ranging from 18-26 months old.
