    Propcorn Disposal

Following bereavement I'm helping family to clear a farm. Found some containers of propcorn (vintage unknown). What's the best way to safely dispose of this? Appreciate it may be a naive question but not being a farmer I don't really know what I'm dealing with!

Considering a Zoe myself, would you recommend?

There's been a working demonstration of concept for years.

My apologies, I missed that. However I stand by my argument that history and heritage are very different. What's obvious is that George Floyd's death ultimately touched a nerve with huge numbers of black British citizens who still experience prejudice and racism. That we continue to publicly...

The statue was cleaned https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.metro.news/cleaner-called-winston-rids-churchill-statue-of-vandals-racism-graffiti/2039187/amp/ so I'm curious where you got the information that it is damaged under its current protection.

Have you got any evidence to support that claim?

You didn't mention heritage in your post. Heritage is much more subjective than history, and is much more based on how we wish to view our past, how we wish to present it to ourselves and others. Colston's statue has been contentious for years and, whilst I disagree with the manner in which it...

Is there any attempt to 'censor' our history? Those attacking Edward Colston's statue weren't trying to cover up his actions, they wanted to explicitly focus on history. Most of us probably know more about him now than we ever did. They should also be looking at criminal damage charges.

    Black lives demo.

If Boris had comdemned his actions and sacked him that would have negated the effects of reporting his actions. If you're part of, or work for, the Government you need to be beyond reproach. The suggestion of not reporting wrongdoing in government for the good of the public is a very slippery...

    Black lives demo.

They should do, gathering like that given the current circumstances was reprehensible, however laudable the aims. But then so were the crowds on various beaches over the last week. Trouble is the Government, though its ludicrous defence of Cummings has lost any moral authority to say otherwise.

    Trade Bill...

I think, collectively, we have a distorted view of WW2 in the UK, more so since the vast majority of those who lived through it have passed on. Many only view the war through the prism of the feelgood films of the 40s and 50s. My grandparents spoke little about the war, but on the odd occasion...

    Trade Bill...

Sadly I think you're right. I still firmly believe Scotland's future would be better served in as part of a well governed UK. Unfortunately the UK is (in my view) currently governed by a collective with an air of entitlement we can only wish was matched with ability. The fact that they have...

Behaviour of the Public and Dominic Cummings

Certainly, it's circa 30 miles each way. When I lived there I'd reckon on 45 minutes to get to Durham, mostly single carriageway A roads with a few towns and villages to travel through. You could use the A1/A66, but we're assured that he wanted to avoid busy roads. His 'short journey' to test...

Behaviour of the Public and Dominic Cummings

Left wing journalists like Julia Hartley-Brewer, Tim Mongomerie, Ian Dale, the Daily Mail editorial team? You're other suggestion for the Prime Minister to suggest the public shouldn't report crime is somewhat unique.

Behaviour of the Public and Dominic Cummings

Not at all, the language used by the police is deliberate to be in accordance with the law. Only the courts can determine if the law has been broken, as it should be. The police will investigate alleged breaches of the law. If they conclude the law has been breached they will take action...
