Kubota here. Did'nt think it would be used much but wife's reduced mobility means it is used every day by anyone. It is not fast but running on farm diesel costs little to run, Very easy to get in and out of. It is one of the machines which you think you do'nt need but is used all the time
Waxoyl mixed with used gear oil to stop it from drying out too quickly. I use an underseal gun on the outside and top up anually. Use a pressurised pot from E bay on a compressor to do inside chassis and box sections, best to get Waxoyl really warm first.

Have used a ladder supported by bars of hurdles at the correct height for ewes feet to just touch the ground. put a pillow under the belly for comfort . This allows circulation in the legs and allows them to pee. Have done this many times.
