Just to kick start an old thread here, now on my 3rd season with the Pronar rake and still can’t fault it at all! Been putting a good couple hundred acres a year through it and I’m yet to even break a tine! Says something about the company Pronar UK Ltd too, just as the 12 month warranty was...
Apologies if this has been asked on here before but seems to be lots of conflicting answers from what I can find!
Was wondering when the best time of year to spread lime on grass is? Only about 6 acres to spread for new land I’ve taken on and been recommended to spread 2t an acre on it just...
Normally we tend to leave sheep out a field for about 3 weeks depending on weather after spreading slurry, this year we spread some muck on the field then father decided he wants to graze sheep on there rather than leave it all winter like we normally would.
How long would be sensible to leave...
Not looking to keep any for breeding just looking to slaughter all the lambs.
no it’s not the same person recommendingthe Jacobswho would hire it, it’s another local chap who has Vendeen flock who uses the Jacob tup
First time breeding sheep this year and a friend has suggested putting my Vendeen ewes to either a Jacob or Berrichon tup, I know people locally who hire out both breeds but curious to hear people’s opinions on either breed.
Have heard that Jacob x are slower finishing but aren’t as prone to...
So realistically do you think the claim from the manufacturer that 35hp can run a 7ft mower is true? If I can get away running 7’ on ours I’d like to as I know we will be upgrading the tractor in a few years
Always run a km22 drum mower on our 135 but it’s always been a bit light on the front end when on the road so been thinking of getting a disc mower as been told they’re much lighter. Have seen plenty of 8’ plus disc mowers but know ours wouldn’t handle anywhere near that but nothing much in...
A chap near me runs a twin rotor Pronar, not sure what he paid but he does a couple hundred acres a year and had it about 3 years. Seems fairly happy with it that’s why I was looking at their single rotor rake
I’m in the market for a single rotor rake to run behind our Massey 135. I’ve seen Enorossi do a 3.5m rake for £2650 and Jarmet 4.2m rake for £3200 or a Pronar 350 rake for £1850, all plus VAT. The Pronar especially seems almost too good to be true. Just wondered if anyone has any experience...
I’ve been wondering this too! I saw it and wondered if it could be too good to be true! Other one I’m looking at is an enorossi 350 Or jarmet that I’ve seen advertised locally at about £2500 inc vat
Anyone know anything about either of these rakes?
