We scratch loose rust off then paint with this stuff called aqua steel very good product which eats rust then some good zinc primer we have got then waxoil over the top keeps things good for a long long time https://aquasteel.co.uk/

We have an ih 885 starts on the button but we have an old same and we use a plumbers torch in the air intake to get it going won’t start without it and saves it getting the sniff addiction

top end rebuild and a lick of paint and away we go 💨💨💨

Seem to spend more time messing around trying to make them work than breaking them 😂

Cheers cheers , looked like it would be the case didn’t want to go in gung ho and end up with bits everywhere. What oil does it take for the axle and how much? And this is a silly question what engine oil does it take that’s the last thing left to drop and change 👍🏻

this seal has started leaking case 885 is it a big job to change or fairly simple whip the shaft out and put back in cheers 👍🏻

I had a good clean up of the earths they are all sparkling now. Will have a look I guess you mean the fuse box ? I can’t believe how much of a rats nest it is wires everywhere and very hard to get too

Local dealer to us is John Deere just there lithium grease has always been good for stuff round here. Bought a jcb recently came with a couple of jcb blue seems nice aswell

Sip welders are very good and reasonably priced for the spec
