Looking at a 2 nd hand rau 1000 litre. Hydraulic folding levelling and height adjustments. Any opinions good or bad please. Currently on a 800litre 12m hardi. 250 acres dairy farm so not loads to spray.
many thanks.
We took the wheels off a claas 2800 when we sold it. It reduced the height a lot and it fit on the low loader bed. The driver rested it on forklift tyres. Only issue is you have to be able to lift it on at the side. No problem for a jcb 538-60 though
Bovine herpes mamilitus. We just stop milking the affected quarter until it heals. Sometimes you can restart milking it again in the same lactation. No treatments seem to work well. youll definitely need to stop milking it to allow it to heal though.
When I had mine on a db 990 it definitely needed the tee bar to put more weight on the digger when you had it’s legs down. You’ll need to fit it with bolts out then put them back in the suitable holes for height. Once fitted you’ll not need to move the bolts again.
I did my first sportive at the weekend. It was a 113 miles with nearly 8000 feet of accent. I averaged 14.5 mph. Really chuffed with that for me! Been riding now for about 4 to 5 years. Best thing I’ve ever done, really good stress buster.
The taps worn ours did the same. we ended up getting another tap off a friends machine that was spare. Don’t think we could get the seals for ours at the time
