    Springs or bogies?

In North/Mid wales our ground is not exactly flat !! A large load of bales on a trailer with springs and it sways like you think the damn thing is going to fall over. If you are going with springs would it be possible to spec extra heavy duty anti roll bars? The next door neighbour had a marshal...

Although the shed will initially be used for machinery storage my partner wants to get into calf rearing in the near future. How much slope would you...

Has anyone ever fixed their own digital dash themselves? I have a 7810 digital dash that is lit up like a Christmas tree but if you press gently somewhere near the middle of the dash everything returns to normal, I'm assuming there must be a dry solder joint somewhere its just a case of finding...

Does anyone run an AVANT loader? Opinions please

like all centre pivot machines they are not the most stable of things If you have the room I would advise buying a much bigger telehandler, A mate of mine had a small one and upgraded to a bigger one handy for him to put on a trailer to take out to small landscaping jobs.

Belt drive or gearbox drive on pto generator?

I spent 8 years working for Broadcrown a genny manufacturing company. for driving anything that needs an accurate speed a direct drive coupling would be far better than a belt. The engines we used to set up ran at a maximum of 53hz off load and dead on 50hz on full load. so roughly no more than...

I bought a very old kuhn ga7301 twin rotor towards the end of last summer, cheap with arms bent tines missing and all the tyres perished, I only rowed up about 50 acres with it last year and I am well pleased, it is certainly an upgrade from my haybob 5000. Now do I sell the haybob as funds...

My tractor is better than your tractor

my dad has always been a ford fan but the old ford 5000 here has had 3 engine rebuilds in 10 years and less than 300 hrs all died due to engine porus, last time the piston took the liner for a ride made quite a mess. I bought a mf 3645 145 hp loved the time spent in the cab just didn't like...
