I don’t know about that fuse but I’ve changed the D-power plug on mine and put it on an Anderson plug directly to the battery, it’s much more reliable now. Cleaning up the big flat connector plug with emery is a good idea.
Sorry yes I just meant that 41% perhaps only looks strange because it’s against such a high rated speed figure. In reality if you’re running at 1900 rpm in PTO and hit a hard spot the engine isn’t going to be dragged back all the time.
I think it’s because the 41% torque rise is measured from rated speed back to peak torque.
The old engine had a much higher rated speed of 2100rpm and it’s not fuelling hard up there so on paper it’s measures a 41% torque rise back to peak torque.
In reality driving it at 1900 you wouldn’t...
My understanding is everything with a DPF has to do a regen at some point to burn the soot gathered in the DPF and convert it into ash which means raising the exhaust temperatures.
I think both Deere and Case do passive regens so they’re doing it anytime during a normal driving cycle like your...
I think as you drive away it does two things 1) adds transmission ratio and 2) progressively closes the neutral valve with engine speed to control pressure in the hydrostat circuit. (That’s the same valve the clutch uses)
So was thinking best to compare the transmission pressures with the hand...
Think there was a thread previously that early 4220 suffered front diff bolts coming loose, thought they mostly got reworked but there were a few improvements steps basically beefed up with more bolts etc which fixed it. Later generation tractors have bigger axles though.
From experience big...
Morning all, started losing some 1month old cade lambs and have another going this morning. They start by losing their back legs like a bacterial infection and injections don’t pull them back.
They’re on grass with a shepherdhess and I’ve noticed something strange in the milk mixing bucket the...
As @Timbo says avoid the early 2.0 diesels , had design flaw where they don’t regen properly and then causes all manor of engine issues. think later ones moved dpf up to the engine bay. Brake squeal. Steering rack issues. Great when it works!
@Clive definitely this. Nitrogen with trace can be detected with a sniffer, it’s what all OEMs use.
These guys travel all over the country doing dealerships etc. Deal with them myself, very good. Tina: 01935 829550
