Roger Sylvester-Bradley
I work to inspire innovation in the cropping industry and supporting field research, so as to enhance crop productivity and sustainability. I lead research on crop improvement and nutrition with ADAS. In recognition of my collaborative research, I am an honorary professor of temperate crop physiology with the University of Nottingham. Current key initiatives include the Yield Enhancement Network (YEN), new methods for farmer experimentation dubbed 'Agronomics', 'N-Circle' - promoting nitrogen recycling in China, and 'Targeted P' developing new approaches to phosphorus nutrition of crops. I collaborate widely and work with teams of ADAS applied scientists funded by industry, crop research levies, and governments.
