Is the problem caused by the acidity of the slurry? I had been told that it was less of a problem if the slurry is separated as there is less residue left on the surface? I assume also that over-application causing the slots to overflow would be a factor?

Sidewinder models have electronic spools and the intelliview screen. Not sure if it would be worthwhile utilising this for guidance but I think a separate 750 screen or similar would give more options for switching between machines.
