I was told JCB Service knew about the problem and suggested the ECU change would cure!
Apparently the fan should run on for 90 seconds only, but what fires it up in the first place? Is it taking a temperature reading off the water jacket temperature sensor? Maybe I should try changing it.
Thought I had fixed it but had it out the other day and the new ECU has not been the answer as you found out - not sure of next move - JCB have not come up with any other suggestions - yes my fan stops when you turn it back on?
Sorted in the end - not a problem that any one really knows about - there is a Slave ECU tucked away under the rear chassis on offside - lie on your back and shuffle under by tow hitch and look up to your left - you will see it bolted high up - just one plug into ECU -- and when I had changed it...
You need to practice your written English - I am surprised at your construction of sentences and choice of words - a sure giveaway that your trying to scam us - we are not that gullible on here believe me .
I still standby my previous remarks above - if only to remind fellow board members of the determination of the scammers out there to fleece us of our hard earned savings - Had I been closer I would have viewed it
Barctrac - Stuart - sold me a 2 year old Telehandler - Heap of scrap and plenty of lies told by him - 6 inch of snow on the ground at the time and too far to go - will never ever buy anything from the group ever again!
Has anyone with a 525-60 experienced the Electric Bonnet Extractor Fan continuing to run for Hours after switching the engine off? The fan must either have a Timer or take a Temperature Reading from a sensor that is causing this problem - any help much appreciated
