We have a Joz scraper in a slatted shed and hydraulic scrapers in the old cubicles and youngstock shed. The Joz works on sensors drilled into the floor. It only goes off track if a cow knocks it or if we're feeding bales and it gets caught up on silage on the floor. It's a lot more reliable...
We've had them out to see what they were offering - they wanted cows to be grazed but are paying only on litres and butterfat, nothing on protein. I don't know how many suppliers they've actually signed up, last I heard they only had one!
