I have a batch of pure texel embryo lamb, born mid Feb. Just not on the thrive at all, would almost think they are a bit stiff but no obvious swelling.
Jagged about 10 of them with nuflor incase it’s a bit of joint

In Ireland, but it’s all coming in from England now due to a shortage here. How much is an 8x4x3 worth in England now? I know the haulage adds a fair bit on to it for here.
What do folk usually feed to keep ewes ticking over before starting concentrates closer to lambing?
We usually just fed a small amount of ewe rolls from end December start of January on, but the feed bill would be scary these days.
Tried beet but it’s expensive now.
If they are buying on the type that they like and ram they have sold has bred well…is there anything wrong with buying sons of a tup they have sold? They are larger flocks than most pedigree breeds so that won’t stop them being able to be used properly.
Thinking of using molasses for sheep during tupping until lambing time.
What is the best type for sheep?
United Molasses seem to be the main place to sell it here.
