    Rumen Fluke

Where we are ewes need to be fluke drenched every 4-6 weeks as it’s so wet. Should we be doing them for rumen fluke a few times over the season?

    New Bale Squeeze

Would a tractor loader be able to stack 3 high on the round with soft hands? Would the design mean the loader looses a bit of height.

    Sheep in !

In Ireland, but it’s all coming in from England now due to a shortage here. How much is an 8x4x3 worth in England now? I know the haulage adds a fair bit on to it for here.

    Sheep in !

8x4x3 straw is now £95 a bale, I’d like to bring more in, but it’s getting costly.

Sheep- what do folk feed when the grass runs out?

What do folk usually feed to keep ewes ticking over before starting concentrates closer to lambing? We usually just fed a small amount of ewe rolls from end December start of January on, but the feed bill would be scary these days. Tried beet but it’s expensive now.

    Molasses for sheep

Is there much benefit to feeding basic molasses through tupping to say 8 weeks out from lambing? Just to keep condition on and keep them ticking over.

    1948 Blackie

If they are buying on the type that they like and ram they have sold has bred well…is there anything wrong with buying sons of a tup they have sold? They are larger flocks than most pedigree breeds so that won’t stop them being able to be used properly.

    Molasses for sheep

Thinking of using molasses for sheep during tupping until lambing time. What is the best type for sheep? United Molasses seem to be the main place to sell it here. thanks
