I am after some cade lambs for bottle feeding, we have a farm park which is open to the public and school visits and would like some cade lambs for visitors to feed. We usually have a few guys round us that we get lambs from but either they are later lambing or we are wanting them earlier...
looks like a good job, will definitely save weight stress on the quad and also frees up the rear rack for other uses. Have you got a fold down ladder to go on for access onto the platform to fill hopper.
Could you make it like the old batemans/ agri buggies with demount option so you could slide...
So who's been today?
We went today and thought it was a very good show, it may not be as big as lamma but thought it was just as good if not even better than lamma. Nearly all the manafacturers / dealers we wanted to see was there, would of just of liked to have seen a bit more livestock...
we got some montbeliardes steers, wish we never bought them, just eat and eat and still look like dairy cows, hoping they will weigh a good amount but not going to grade very well
we got a fixed topper and was ok at first but now really wishing we got a offset flail instead, the topper is slow and constantly breaking pto shear bolts on anything other than perfectly level ground, also been fixed behind you run all the grass down first with wheels so you end up reversing...
Had the dealers out again and finally this time they found a fault code when checking the diagnostics, turns out to be the red pto stop button on rear fender as a lot of you mentioned. Haven't used pto since they fixed it but hopefully this should have sorted the problem.

yeah probably better comparison as the 6480 is slightly smaller chassis than the 6490 and both the 6480 and deutz 150 are 160hp.
Only reason for choosing the 6490 is we have one so know exactly how it compares, going back to the 6480 I would guess the engine isnt as strong as the deutz as our...
