    We run an easy calving BB bull (Springbank Blackstar Son) with our bb x fresian cows and never have a problem calving. Just bought another 10 as replacement heifers this year.

    We buy a lot of Hol x and Fr x, some continentals too Its quite strong feed, the bred and spuds are great for getting a layer of fat on the milk x bullocks, they need the acid/rumen buffer along with the straw to keep the feet and stomach right you'd get slightly over 2kg with the continentals...

    We buy in stores around 450kgs drench then straight on to fattening/finishing ration, takes 2 weeks to get them on to the full ration mind 12kg spuds 10kg silage 3kg barley 3kg bread 2kg straw 100grams urea minerals acidbuff
