I was only ever aware of the Laverda having this option. I did once see a John Deere with a blower attachment and it pulled a small silage trailer behind to collect the screening but I guess this was a farmer’s modification.
Going to stick my head above the parapet here and say that while there are clearly issues with the way the NFU are handling this, there’s a danger that it’s becoming a distraction from the issue of the introduction of the GFC.
We’re potentially seeing the biggest pushback against the mission...
We run a 4 meter Farmhand/Juko tine drill that we got for £400 at a farm sale and we’ve just splashed out £30 on a new set of points for it!
Can do a lot of cultivating for the (overinflated) price of an old Unidrill…
Went straight into barley stubble with the grass harrow & seeder to put our forage tape in. Was a nice bit of moisture when you broke through the surface and didn’t want to lose that by cultivating it.
Left hand side half shaft is leaking oil so I’m guessing there could be an issue with the bearings. I’ve been told you have to take the hydraulic top cover off to remove the half shaft housing. Anything I need to watch out for? TIA

Quality control sometimes leaves a bit to be desired. Mate of mine had a new 4m and they had to alter all the tine spacings as none of the drill rows matched up the first time they used it. Wasn’t any good for putting rape in either as they couldn’t get the tines shallow enough
We’re on our second Polish made sprayer and also have a Polish wuffler.
The first sprayer wasn’t without it faults but it did the job. The second was a big improvement with components from known manufacturers (Arag etc) and still a fraction of the cost of a mainstream brand.
Not much to say...
