I am looking for an experienced individual to help on a mixed arable (700ha), sheep (650 ewes) and B&B pig fattening (3000) family farm based in North Yorkshire. Main jobs will be tractor based and will involve spraying, fertilising, cultivation work, drilling and relief combining. A knowledge of GPS/Variable rate applications/Mapping would be useful. You will be required to help with the B&B fattening pigs and carry out any associated medicating, sorting and loading tasks that are required. There will be a limited need on the odd occasion to help with the sheep.

We are an independent family farming company looking to recruit an assistant manager for our 600 sow outdoor unit producing 7kg weaners on contract.

The chosen applicant will be involved with all aspects of the daily running of the unit to meet production targets.

We are looking for a cheerful motivated person with a can-do attitude and good communication skills. The ability to keep accurate records and maintain high welfare standards is essential.
