John Deere 6910 ap

I was just browsing the internets, and I came across something I always fancied in my "dream shed of tractors", just for having the thing, a john deere 6910 autopowr.
I have heard the stories and seen the problems and kept dreaming, however I have now come across a particular one with a little under 10,00 hours, not that special but it has had a new autopowr 650 hours ago, that I like.
I am wondering would it be a wise buy and what would it be worth?
Thanks in advance from a dreamer.

If you check the pressures- Complete pressure test.. and they come up tip top... It might be worth a shot.

And as above also!. But the linings had an update so should be all ok.

Had a look today. It was a little rougher then I hoped and some points came up that I didn't like, worn panhard rod, leaking steering cilinder, tyres where worn on the front and nearing that on the back, display toggle switch playing up, some worklamps not working. Also no hours written on the filters, common, but a pity nonetheless.
As it turned out the autopowr wasn't swapped but had been opened up and revised, I don't really know what to think of that.
It was advertised with a nice price, a bit under €20,000. Bearing all the problems that could potentially arise, and being advised not paying to much, I offered 15k, they turned it down obviously and said 18k was no problem.
Long story short, I didn't buy it, but I said I would offer more if she would be on better tyres. They would think on it, as would I.
We'll see...

Question, the toggle switch for the display, known problem?

Now Then..
Toggle switch (Roll Mode Switch) is only a little microswitch, however I rather think there'll be some plastic fatigue in the area causing the problem..

That is the plan eventually yes but no concern as when it gets wet I can take the other tractor. She needs to prove herself before I start spending more money on it. Then I want to get the girl back to brochurestate, if you know what I mean, so all the crap on the roof goes off and because all 10 series in my area are that way the beacons go to the back. The horns don't work, I think a broken airhose. The tractor sounds really great though. even better then the 6610. And yes I am very very happy with it. It is kind of a dream come true. that is if it goes well. If it goes tits up it's more of a nightmare come true :p.

Thanks for all the likes and compliments. Doesn't help anything paying the thing ( :p ) but it nice to hear people like the looks the 10 series as much as I do.
A little bump on the road I just noticed is that the rearend does have some slightly different threaded holes. Ihoped I could just take the piton-fix drawbar (continental thing) off the 6610 ans slide it into the 6910 but it requires some alteration.
Will post some more photo's this week!

Lovely!
On what will be be it's other main job, 12 m3 Shittymaker with 5,4m slootsmid. Combined with the foragewagon adding up to about 150 hours a year I guess, which will make it good for a few more years!
Adding the weights really helped the ride, one of these days I will buy a load of 50 kg ones. For looks I would like the 900 kg bigpack but the 480 kg it has now is more then enough.
On another matter, what's the most economical way to rive an autopowr? I put max rpm on 1800, the other dial (forgot the name) on eco mode (5) and just push the handthrottle to max. I have heard these aren't keen on transmission braking so I just use the brakes.

I have ran into a problem with my 6910 autopowr.
When I brake with one pedal is throws up error codes and goes into neutral. Put the reverser into neutral and in either forward or reverse and it goes again but I just cant use independent braking.
Dealer said to replace brake switches (one unit) but it makes no difference.
Any ideas?
