Unbrako concrete panels - Poor Customer Service!!

That sounds like a good idea , when I see a pile of 1000 panel lifting shackles I think to myself what a huge chance there is of someone getting hurt one day , considering the number of lifting operations taking place , the potential inexperience of some of the people involved , the use of sometimes unsuitable lifting machinery , the site conditions and unsafe slings / chains.
Anything to help make things safer needs looking at.

ooo I wander where this saga will end. I cannot see why people can't just let things lie and move on their life and their own business. What's the point of coming on here and starting a thread like this. Either 1) to do the firm damage and try to ruin a reputation 2) to get what has happened, a cheap deal on some panels or potentially free ones.

If you were really that upset with the service why go back? Just take it that they don't want to know and go elsewhere for your panels.

It sounds to me like the sales guy got a kick up the backside, likely a happy customer again, and Unbrako turned a bad situation into a good one. Mistakes happen in every business, it's how you deal with them that matters.

I think its a result, as i understand it we all get free panels now because John is stuck in a snowdrift.

UPDATE. John actually turned up early, and when we did the measuring he realised why we needed advise on the job. They actually have got a bigger order than we originally required!
As said in a previous quote, I will give credit where it is due and thanks to Paul @Unbrako precast, we have got the customer service that we originally expected.

Yes, but how big is the discount and can all TFFers get it if John comes round for a quote.

i am glad things turned out well and as promised so all sounds good now, i have had lots of panels from them some times a small job some times big and have had good service with all orders and have been helped out with rush jobs more than once

I am very sorry about the confusion , I have spoken to Adam and he says he said , he would try and get today and that he did mean coming this Friday originally.
I like to think that we are a very helpful firm and definitely value our customers ( both large and small ) very highly. I have occasionally travelled 200 odd miles to measure a hand full of very low priced panels .

I myself am a farmers son and until very recently worked on the farm myself , I have massive respect for the farmers who keep us in business and earn there living in this difficult climate. I teach the staff to treat every customer importantly and sometimes by trying to do so much I can't rule out making the odd mistake.
What we are not is greedy and uncaring , our prices are very low .
We sell a huge volume of panels and only have a small office staff in order to be so competitive .
If it is alright with you our man John can be with you in the morning ( Wed 20th ) around 9 am .
If we are at fault please accept my genuine apologies and I can assure you we will do an extremely keen price as a good will gesture.
If John is not there by 9.30 you can have the panels for free , that's a promise !
Thank you ,
Paul
Can I have this deal as well??!!!

I think you will find this an issue with nearly all prestressed wall manufacturers at the moment.
Our shed building guy said it was an issue in May getting panels and says it hasn’t got much better and he has accounts with several manufacturers.

The pre-cast firm I work for are about 5/6 weeks waiting time for panels at the moment, been like that since July.
