Ringworm?

Anyone have any ideas what this is???

Had ringworm before but not the same as ive ever had really!!

Thought it was an insect bite at first as you could see the wee hole then it swelled up around it in a circle and now these wee pussy white things appearing!!
Burst a few just to inspect

Yeah it's orf had it on my hand used irodine to dry mine up and kept it covered loosely with a tubular bandage to stop it spreading to other places or people.

Yeah it gotten worse i would say in last day so will probably pop into the Pharmasist tomorrow or Tuesday see what they say!

Probably didnt help pulling the skin off the top
 
The lesion should be kept dry and covered to prevent a secondary infection with bacteria. While working with animals or during manual labor in which the lesion might get wet, use a watertight bandage. To promote healing, a non-weeping sore can be uncovered at bedtime or covered loosely if still weeping.

If you are experiencing pain, fever, or notice that the lesion is becoming rapidly larger or spreading, you should see your doctor

Looks like Orf to me too had it as a kid mine was worst than that though and I kept picking at it:facepalm: seem remember it being very ichy:scratchhead: think doctor gave me something for it in the end?

Been to Doctors and got an antifungal cream and ABs!!!

Just keeping both hands in Latex gloves and putting talc powder on hands to try keep them dry during the day at work and loose cotton gloves at night then uncovered for bed!!!

Quick Question -can you catch Orf from abything else than sheep???

Been through our Ewes and Lambs again and cant see any with Orf and havent noticed any on the farm before!!!

Orf is a bit like ring worm insofar that it can exist in the environment on dry matter for a year or so. It can also be found in all ruminants and also cats and dogs. So you could've been in contact with a virus that had been dormant dormant for some time.
