yet another 750a "improvement" thread

what are the essential and desirable things to add to a 750A?

It is a 4m iso drill with markers and following Harrow and is supposed to arrive with spoked gauge wheels. Obviously guttlers(+weights) will be fitted and kv tines instead of jd ones.

Others I'm thinking of are a hopper camera, air bleeds (I like the idea of seed coming out even if coulter is blocked at the outlet), work lights and an air line for blowing out hopper/metering unit when changing seed.

We already have a 1,000l front tank with pacer pump and rds that we use with Claydon so will rig drill up to work with this leaving tank on front Links so can swap between 2 drills. Is anyone else using a pacer pump, it works fine on Claydon, fills v quickly and is compatible with all fert. Downsides are it seems to take an awful lot of Hyd oil flow which I might need. What other pumps are people using?

Was also thinking of fitting a small seed hopper for drilling cover/companion crops. Which is the best option to go for? Are they expensive?

Are there any other additions that would be useful on the drill?

Pretty much all done. Guttlers, air bleeds and spoked wheels fitted, hopper camera installed and fert plumbed up. Next wet day will hitch up front tank and test my plumbing

Looking good Louis - got the fert tubes fitted yet ?

what tank are you using and where will you mount ?
Yes tubes are fitted, not sure if you can make them out in that pic. They worked out very well.

It's a team 1000l front tank with pacer pump and rds. It goes on the front links as we use it with the Claydon too in certain conditions for rape and beans especially on land coming straight from ploughing
