i'm guessing the tanker has auto sample? Its been known for them to sample straight out the bottom of the outlet...
we did wonder if it was a sample issue but was measurable in the tanker so the sample was sound. We wondered if the driver was using a broom to get the sample as there is only a little milk in the tank! we are now the proud owner of a stainless steel sample extension.

If it's returnable send it back and buy yourself some alkathene. Cut to length and disinfect every milk works a treat

I'm assuming there is enough milk in the tank that the milk is agitating when the paddle comes on, rather than it just wafting air around! (we often only have 1000litres but it's a 6000l tank and it agitates OK)

Assume you've had another test by now - how are things looking?

What % capacity is your tank running at? Sometimes they can get quite grubby when running low due to splashes and poor agitation etc.

We had one driver using his own sampling extension which was a piece of bent ally tube (tent pole?) and he crammed the handle of th sampler up it. When caught we found he basically cheese all wedged up the tube and it was falling out into the sample.

Just had a tbc of 6449. That's at least 6441 higher than all the tests so far this year. Chap on the phone said they were investigating 300 out of the 500 pick ups in his area/ domain. Wouldn't be too worried. Wait for the next one.
