big 6 profile sheets - in tin not perspex

Next TFF challenge...

easy to find metal cladding in most shapes but not Big 6.

need to replace window lights with metal sheets, cant seem to find a supplier that can make it.

it has to be metal so we can knock the sheet back up under the old to waterproof it.

anyone any ideas?

if no roof light needed
why not just a big 6 fibre cement sheet instead,.... undo tex`s or roof hook bolts around it and lift a little and slide under
might need to mitre one corner

We can offer the big 6 in 10ft ( 3.048mtr ) in Goose wing grey or anthracite 0.7mm plastisol coated steel.

building is under clad so cant get to bolts and don't want to have to take out all the solar panels

Perfect. need 8 no, 10 ft is a touch long but that will be fine. how much delivered to Oxford and when could you dispatch?

so can you leave cracked sheets in place, loosen the fixings and slide metal sheets into place to make waterproof

But the bottom of the sheet would be under the next sheet down?

Have done similar with offcuts of rooflight sheets for quick repair

Yes the steel sheeting is a direct match, we tend to supply this for covering damaged sheets or to overclad the whole roof using a grid system.

Ooh, this sounds interesting.
It could save a lot of hassle re-roofing an old Atcost barn here.

Would you mind putting a price up here for us?
Or PM me, but without a good going over the shed I wouldn't know how much I'd need yet.

Our standard stock colour is Goose Wing Grey Pvc 0.7mm and in 3.050mtr lengths, the Farming forum price is £36.51 + vat per sheet.
