any idea why i don't get any notifications on my mobile app @llamedos? come in every morning to a laptop going crazy with notifications

Not sure about the App at all sorry, if it has been a while since you installed the app it seems a complete delete and re install of it fixes most issues.
we have no control over how the App works, we simply use a skin on a 3rd party developed app'

I'm finding alerts on my laptop are sporadic; it used to be that every time there was a reply to a thread I'd posted in (not necessarily started) I'd get an alert at the top of the page. Now if I click "New Posts" quite often I'll spot a thread that I've contributed to that has had an additional reply from another member but there's been no alert shown (n).

I 'think' the system learns from your actions, ie, if you have contributed to a thread, and then not revisited it(perhaps missed clicking just one alert) it learns you are no longer interested in that thread.

For me it is quite useful, as I create lots of threads, however beyond their creation, I am not really interested in their outcome, and quite often I forget to un check the 'alert me/wathc thread' box, some of those threads go on for 100s of posts, the system learns beyond its first few alerts which I do not respond to, that I am no longer interested, and saves me receiving 100s of alerts. If I do visit the thread, say because someone has reported a post or tagged me, then once again I receive further alerts.

Oh I see, bloody big brother second guessing me again!! Only joking, that makes sense I guess but I don't have as many interesting things to say as you so am desperate to cling on to anything I post (n)
