What happens when a biomass boiler system is not treated with protection when it is installed?

Thankfully most responsible installers do treat the new installations.

Here's a case study on a biomass boiler system that wasn't treated or protected and was performing inefficiently, and losing RHI revenue!

Putting an inhibitor into a system that has a major design issue will do absolutely no good as you can't stop rust once it has formed For a new system to be so limited by magnetite within 18 months has to point to a material fault or poor design. I would suspect the installation was open vented using steel or low carbon steel pipe with no magnetic filters and running at too high a temperature. Design and specification will be at fault

The system was fully cleaned and not just an inhibitor added. As I am not an installer of the technology, I cannot comment on your assumptions. I will however, pass on your comments to the installer. Thanks for the input.

Most rhi heat meters do not run or work correctly with system products the big heat meter company told me anyhow ???

Most RHi meters don't run or work correctly with products that have glycol in them! So the meter companies are correct to a point without them expanding on exactly what products they are referring too!
The XP major product range does not contain glycol.

Would you please advise me of the major meter company that advised of this?
