Export electricity price

We are not exporting a great deal but it works out at around 20,000 kwh per year so what is the current rate to be paid. We are coming up to the end of a 2 year deal which was 5.21p/kwh but the quote to renew has dropped to 5.01 for 1 year or 4.91 for 2 years.

The chancellor abolished LECs which meant that approximately .2p was lost. The green market has taken a bit of a knock as well, but it is worth ringing round or possibly speaking to Luke at Mosscliff Energy ( I think that is how he is trading) on 0207 703 5673
if this does not get him come back to me

Another vote for Luke Andre, (ex-Mosscliff) he trades as Infer Energy http://www.inferenergy.co.uk/

I'm just in the process of getting quotes now for a 650KW Solar array.
Opus are the lowest for us at 4.8p, seems they don't want any power!
Has anyone got any experience of going onto a variable export taffif?

I have at the begining of Dec signed a contract for my turbine with Limejump on a variable tariff ,but it is too soon to tell how it is performing. These people seem like quite a dynamic team of smart operators but only time will tell.
