My BP finally arrives but it's 13% below what it should be. No discrepancies that I'm aware of on the form, it was all validated and we haven't had an inspection or notification of any contraventions of cross compliance or any explanation whatsoever for the shortfall.

Phoned them up and all they could say was wait till your statement arrives in February and take it up with us then. They couldn't find any reason for the shortfall in file.

WTF :banghead:

How can such a simple thing go so wrong?

Folk with dazzling headlamps :banghead:

  • Badly adjusted?
  • Illegal HID kits?
  • Full beam all the time?
    • Because they don't care?
    • Because their dipped beam are blown?
  • @ARW with a heavy trailer behind :p
I don't care. They're all Muppets!
Same problem everywhere

We take our vehicles for MOTS. They set the headlamp angles.
Why should I need to faff around setting the angles up myself, other than compensating for loads? I've never had anything else done to headlamps other than been set up during the MOT, yet still get flashed at. Well I've done my best so you'll just have to squint as I pass.

If it's passed a PROPER MOT then it should be fine.

Illegal hid kits shouldn't pass.

Add for adjusting for load, that's another story

The difficulty of obtaining the right spare parts, particularly for British made equipment.

When I was in engineering you did a drawing and a bill of materials, to cut a long story short.

So if you phone the main dealer, then one way or another they should be able to pinpoint the part number, if the manufacturers system is any good.

So why is it after 24 hours the main dealer hasn't even got back to me, despite having model type, serial number etc.

Then they wonder why I buy non genuine online. Price is one reason, but the other important reason is that you can make sure you have the right part yourself in a few minutes.

One thing that really gets me fed up is when the photographers in any main event , make the winner/ champion kiss the bliddy cup / plate / dish/ trophy whatever . I noticed yesterday that they had two actors or thespians of some sort , down on their knees kissing the pavement with the star embedded outside Graumann's Chinese place . Makes me sick to see it .
