Concrete layer spent 11 months with him and the guy works hard and fast. Fair to say they've laid a lot of loads there!

Not saying he's not a grafter and I mean nothing personal by this but if you invest 1.8 million on a 700 cow unit you need to take a bit of responsibility yourself when the wheels come off, just because milk was worth 30+p for 6 months doesn't mean it's going to stay there long term, and history would of suggested it wasn't, a lot of people up here have fallen into the same trap though and he's by no means alone. It's the young guy that's just set off with 100 cows that I feel for, they're the guys that really had no option but to borrow a heap of cash.

It's not good luck my family have worked dam hard to create this business,

Welcome, have to say really enjoy watching any shows you've done and really like the positive approach even to more negative topics at times, its way it should be :)
You sat behind myself and the missus at the International few years ago and was pleasure to meet you then and hopefully interact here.

Well done @1GarethWynJones !
Excellent series on the Milkman, the series done on your farm near Anglesey was also an eye opener too for those down south!
Keep up the good work, farming needs spokesmen like you to alert the general public of the low prices we all get for commodities whether it be milk, beef, sheep, pigs, poultry or cereals!
