As the title says I'm trying to run a KV tellus box for my fertilizer spreader through the isobus loom on a JD 6155R tractor so that the tractor screen is only doing tractor and autosteer and the tellus does the rest. Most of the times I switch it all on it's fine but sometimes the tractor still tries load the spreader to it's own screen which it shouldn't as the implement viewer is turned off so it goes to the other screen has anyone else come across anything like this before?

Yes he's bloody good with it tried various settings and it's still playing up a bit it's fine if it just stands for a night but if it's sitting a couple of days it's giving trouble. I've spoken to the expert at the local jd dealer he reckons that the settings are correct so basically didn't have an answer for me.

If you are trying to do section and rate control on the Tellus, turn off the JD task controller or set it to priority 2
I've tried that combination of settings as well with the task controller switched off or at priority 2 the tellus doesn't load up as it should it brings the spreader up on the screen for around a minute then it disappears from the tellus but doesn't go to the tractor?
I've turned off the task controller and it's been working fine I spread for a day with no problems at all left it overnight then the next morning when I started it all up the tractor is coming up with the messages again it's not really causing any issues it's more annoying that the way it's set it shouldn't even be looking to connect to the spreader. Anyone got any more suggestions?
I get similar issues with a Kuhn. No logic to it, and it's not every time. I'm doing vari rate/auto on-off so have the 2630 display doing that side of things and 4600 controlling the spreader run screen. Maybe 70% of the time when i start the tractor it loads fine in the correct way. The other times the 2630 detects the spreader first and once that happens I appear doomed and have to start/stop the tractor until the 4600 detects it first. This is on a 6175R, but used to do exactly the same on the 6210R on which the spreader run screen was suppose to appear on the smaller touch screen they come with. Got used to it now and keep forgetting to ask @CPP why this happens.
Sounds like mine I've been told that my tractor is possibly due a new software update but still to confirm that yet I'm gonna try the dealers again on Mon to see what's happening.

Ive got neither that spreader or tractor, so take with a grain of salt, but logically it sounds very much like the JD is defaulting to active TC after the machine has been fully powered down and all ECUs restart. This sounds like a firmware/software may be required to make the setting "stick".

I get the same problem when trying to put the tellus box in a 6190 with a 2630 doing guidance and tellus doing section, I just have to keep changing settings until it works then when it does do not switch the tractor off all day. They said isobus should be plug and play but I find it more plug and pray.
I'm only really getting problems when the tellus has been out the tractor for a while it can take half a dozen attempts to get the 2 of them paired up and running right then as long as I switch on the tellus asap when I start up it's no problem. I think the biggest problem is the tellus takes too long to get going and the tractor can see it's got an implement so tries to get it before the tellus does but it's really annoying as when the jd 4600 is set up so the tellus is doing the implement it shouldn't even be looking for one.

Use logic as changing settings until it works doesn't change daily. It will need to be set the same way each day, so take a screen shot of it working then next day it'll be a 10 second job to put right settings in.
