Nice n smooth to drive and a nice place to sit. But the one I drove liked to fall apart a lot plus all kinds of computer errors and electrical problems.
Buy a Volvo if you want the best !.

Common rail Isuzu engine has issues but the JCB engines In the later machines are ok.
I suspect the same Isuzu engine will be used in the Hitachi, Case and Kobelco excavators

Nothing much wrong with a jcb Hitachi do seem to be much dearer than anything else but never having owned one cannot comment on them but as I have no complaint with jcb why would you not buy from a British company. I have a js digger, a 3cx backhoe and a loadall along with 3 Land Rover products and think they are all excellent products

If you scratch away at the surface you'll find the JCB shares many of the same components as the Hitachi and Case.
