Ferguson Cross Shaft Handle

You'll not want to nip the 4 bolts up too tight or the cross shaft will not rotate, some grind off the lug underneath the shaft to enable easy movement of the plough back along the shaft. When viewed from the rear the left hand (rear furrow frame) should be between 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 inches from the inside edge of the left link ball. As above you'll have to plough and fiddle with the cross shaft/plough width to get it ploughing ok with the adjuster in the mid range.
Some even extend the cross bar but that's another story.
Oh and another thing, you'll need to put a collar on the shaft to stop the plough creeping along the shaft to the left (when viewed from the rear)
