Not really that impressive to find a water leak, us "men in vans" often have more idea than the dealer "technician" with his video camera ;)

It wasn't his skill I was referring, more that there's only so much stuff you can fit in a van to solve different problems. Testing coolant system pressure i would think to be outside of the top 100 reasons for car stoppage and you'd think would require more specialist equipment than your average fix. Perhaps I'm wrong though...

Probably only a little hand pump fits on header tank, but yes only so much equipment you can carry about

you full time welding on the dairy stuff??
Supposed to be retired (so my wife tells me) I weld for this Lely dealer. He started as a technician with Lely Canada at he same time I did in 2000. When Lely started the dealerships, he got the one for his area. I welded in his area for Lely Canada, now directly for him. Had been slow growth until this year. He has 31 sold. Only which it was closer to home. 4hrs away. Been coming for 2 weeks at a time. Home for 3 days. then back again. Going to be a busy year.

There's various things wrong with it, the most recent is It keeps boiling. Ford had a look today and they said I didn't have enough water in so they topped it up  the only reason it had no water in was cause it had fecking boiled it all

So anyway they said they'd checked it and couldn't see anything else wrong so sent me home. Driving home, site enough it's boiling again. I got home lifted bonnet and checked all pipes but couldn't actually see anything so I thought rubbish to it does supplied it with AA recovery so I rang AA, AA man came out, listened to me, which ford struggle with, put his pressure tester on header tank and there was water pissing out.

But ford said there was nothing wrong with it

Not good that a pipe has worn through after 9 month though
Ring Ford direct and report dealership for sh!t service

I've had a morning out with a proper beekeeper.

You can't see from the pictures, but we've inspected 40+ hives, moved 6 from one apiary to another, and checked his queen growing experiment.

Then I came back and looked at my four hives!

(One's out of shot!)

It's amazing how much you can pick up assisting an old hand at it for a couple of hours, that they don't teach you on the courses!
