My FWPS area is or was eligible for SFP, but never claimed as I was told I couldn't get both, looks like I've missed out on a bit of money, but then lost the entitlements for that piece when BPS came in somehow, I'm now somehow 4 ha worth short for this years claim and need to get 4, and then another 5 if I can claim on the Wood :scratchhead:

Sounds like you where told the same as me !, I've missed out on claiming SPS on 16.5ha for 7 years apparently.
I'd have 2.5ha worth to sell but since the RPA took all mine I've got none at all.

Received two letters this am, first acknowledgement of my complaints sent last May (when I got paid for 2015) and this jan (when I got paid for 2016) which say they have amended my claims and I will receive a remittance advice and a claim statement soon. :nailbiting: I'm nervous! Hopefully everything will be correct now. Last time I checked pre-populated data for 2017 is correct. I have everything crossed.

Extract from the SPS handbook of around 2005/6:

Land in woodland schemes under the England Rural Development Programme (ERDP)
32. Land categorised as woodland is not normally eligible for payment under the SPS. However, land converted to woodland under the following schemes:

33. It is important to be aware that, if you use eligible land in a woodland scheme to meet your set-aside requirements, the income foregone element of your woodland scheme payment (i.e. your FWPS payment or your EWGS Farm Woodland Payment) will be reduced to reflect the fact that you will be receiving an SPS set-aside payment in respect of the land concerned.

8 th Dec 2016 everything was as normal, 9th everything changed farm grew , other people's land added etc etc , complain made and mapping something like in order by end of Jan bar one field missing after a few phone calls beginning of march all in order 2017 filled in just to send thought wait for 2016 claim to be correct . After asking anything else wrong reply was everything looked in order. End of March missing parcel still missing but on final checking so call made and error logged again but due to being told so close to April payment thought - sort it after getting at least 75% . April 7 th payment , marvellous although not sure what for . Supposed full payment statement arrived nearly a year too the day of 2016 claim sent in as follows - only paid on 93.5% of area claimed ( area beginning same for atleast 10 years give or take an inch ) of which site info still says field still missing of 2% of claim, now a supposed over claim by 6 % = fine. . Total ha missing 6.5% . Add supposed overclaim to ha found and does not add up to land or paperwork for original 2016 claim , 2016 amended claim from remote sensing or 2017 pending claim . currently about 10% in value missing , bps claim query form sent Noteing as much as can in a small space . But Jesus Christ why the hell cannot the case workers inquire to there ' customer' before making judgement at least once to clarify everything before payment . Would take average 20 mins max to run though each one .
I swear if it was a murder mystery it would be the best thriller ever!!!!

Has anyone other than "sid" had the remaining 25% paid yet or are we all still waiting? I have had to submit my 17 claim not knowing the out come of my very recent 16 inspection.

Been paid some monies outstanding from 2015 and 2016. No claim statement as yet but they don't look that far off the amounts I was hoping for so there is hope for all of you. At least I feel a bit more optimistic submitting 2017 claim.....
Chin up everyone they are doing something.........

I'm at a complete loss as to what to do !.
They replied to my complaint and flatly say I'm ineligible due to woodland contracts on my land so haven't got over 5ha of eligible land, WGS/FWPS is an RDPE scheme which is BPS eligible. My land was registered in 2008 as it turns out, I used the code they told me to use in 15 and same again in 16 as they hadn't sorted 15 out !.
That code may or may not have been wrong I have no idea if they addressed that in my complaint, if they did it's not in there replie in fact most of what I put in my complaint hasn't been replied too.
I haven't submitted a claim at this point in time as I just don't know what to code it as, I may or may not need to submit an rle1 I really can't say as they haven't processed the one we sent in 15 yet. They have got it and are going to get it processed so I'm told and I'm to wait till that's done !.
They've sent me a form to make an appeal but I don't really know what I'm appealing against, am I appealing because I was given the wrong code to use or because I used the sr01 code and they've deemed that ineligible ?.

I honestly just don't know, my agent doesn't know and best of all the helpline is just unhelpful cos even they don't know !.

Still not had the 25% final payment, when I looked on line on the view a previous claim page a week ago we had been moved to "preparing for payment" from claim validation. How long does it normally take from "preparing for payment" to actually paying?
