At least they talk to you!
Had exactly the same experience. Can't even be bothered to sell it, let alone back it up!!!Good luck! I made enquiries of them about their auto steer add on at LAMMA 2 years running and heard nothing back. I gave up and went back to Trimble.

That's sounds an awful lot of money. I've not made enquiries into other system so don't know how that figure compares.did the demo you saw work okI run a patchwork advance and looked into upgrading to the evolution (steering system) last October. Being able to try the system (although a demo system in someone else's tractor) was a big help and convinced me to enquire further and get a valid quote. I have very little experience of steering systems but it did what I wanted it to do on the demo, although I'm sure, like most tech, you need much more time to get used the the system to get the most from it. However, when the quote arrived, I must admit I wasn't expecting the price to be on the plus side of £9500. I have not compared it to any other 'like for like' systems yet as I am not in a position to proceed any further for the time being.
That was my first reaction to the price to be honest. Like you, I don't know how that compares to other 'like for like' systems, but from hearing other figures talked around, I imagine that it is on the high side for what it is. Bearing in mind that it was only steering using the EGNOS signal, Omnistar and RTK were possible but at further cost. The system was on a tractor that was just cultivating. As my Blackbox spends all of its time in the sprayer, I wanted to see how good it was at steering onto the next 24m pass from the headland when spraying off cultivated land/ploughing etc where there are no tramlines. I couldn't fault the system really for doing that. When approaching the next run on the screen, engaging the steering motor brought the tractor onto the correct path really well (although I was travelling slowly to give it time, but then I tried to use the same speed as if I was in the sprayer to give it a fair test. It seemed a very expensive way of making that job easier, so for the time being I will continue with it purely for guidance.
