Agco c3000 coverage.

Just got my first auto steer tractor and it's fitted with the c3000 screen. I would like to have the coverage turn on and off with the implement but don't appear to have the relevant wire on the harness or be able to link it to the datatronic. Has anyone managed this or is there a work around? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Which harness is it, AGCO OEM for a MF, Valtra or Challenger? We have a plug to the small power outlet, can be used to switch coverage on with 12 V on the plug. Power feed from the implement via a switch or from the switched power plug at the cabin (this one can be turned on and off by headland control).

Must be a pin at connector #1, hopefully someone has figured out which one. There seems to be one analogue input and one digital input but that is named "frequency in". I could check it if needed.

MF harness . 7726 tractor. there is a gps out via 9 pin and a radar out via another plug but that's all as far as I can see. I was hoping that being MF supplied and fitted it would record more tractor data such as fuel used and be able to use the trigger from the datatronic but a 12 volt signal would do if I can find out which pin to connect to, would use the plug by the side of the seat for a signal in this case.

Datatronic tractors can recognise work signals programmed in, such as a particular spool or linkage or pto. I haven't as yet translated it into turning the coverage on and off. I think if you completely set up a job task (operator, field, machine, daughters shoe size) it may do it. After nearly 4 years I haven't had the patience to try it. After the software update on mine the job/mapping side of things has altered so I need to look at it to see if coverage switching is possible again.

Since the update the coverage logging is further behind the actual tractor position, which is uninspiring to say the least.

Not familiar with Datatronic but any GPS screen can be configured to log coverage at the exact position you want. Perhaps implement settings or vehicle settings (antenna position) have changed at the update. Not ideal if logging changed with old parameter values but even there it must be configurable to work as it should.
