Electric sliding gates vs rising barrier on farm tracks

Location
Suffolk
I saw a gate, centrally pivoted, set on one quarter of a toothed cog, this was operated by a short double-acting hydraulic ram. The gate lifted in seconds so needed no sideways space. It was slower in the downwards cycle & looked an impressive set up. Not easy to bypass & I would imagine easily operated by a battery & motor as the power would be needed to lift rather than drop/close.

I am just putting in such a gate, called a cantilever gate, mine is for a 30ft opening so gate needs to be 45ft total length....so that the 15ft remains within the two posts.
Two heavy duty steel posts concreted in about 8ft, four nylon wheels with a 2 inch profile to fit top and bottom of gate.........slides really easy....on the catch post I have added a V to just grab the gate as will shift side to side in high wind situation
You can add a solar power unit to keep the battery charged (all run off battery)

If you do not want a keypad code to enter you can also add a wire loop underground which will detect vehicle and activate the gate (for situation where security no problem such as my deal)

Did not consider the lift gate on cost.

Lots of youtube vids to explain

Put a timer in so the gate will only operate on the keypad at times you want, working hours, other times opens only by phone or remote only.

Any recommendations or experiences please, remote location so needs to be battery/solar powered.
I did look into this and a lot of barriers are filmsy alloy polls one option is buy the biggest and replace with a shorter box section poll but this would void warranty.
goggle pas 68 for strong barriers. in the end I opted for sliding cantilever and had it fitted it would not have being to difficult it fit myself if I had have had the time.

You wouldn't need the tank for the disinfection kit. It's the Fendt of gates, check the thickness of the ramp steel.
