FYM on stubbles

Normally spread muck just before drilling after we have round upped the stubbles or at spring on growing crops
This year we are earlier combing, so would have time to muck the stubbles now but am concerned that the muck will shade some of the weeds when we roundup
Is the only option to disc it in lightly
Not that we have one but would a straw rake be aggressive enough to break up rotted muck?
@SilliamWhale what do you do, have read posts about you spreading muck

What are you shallow cultivating with?
I know its a bit different but we mucked stubbles pre spring barley and that has left grass weeds, that were under the muck when we round upped it

Roundup before muck, definitely a good dose if there are difficult weeds.

Then maybe put a litre in with the preem after drilling to sweep up? I have done that a few days after drilling cereals and it cleans up volunteers and tiny chitted weeds very nicely. Get it on before crop emergence though!

The main weeds are AMG, rose bay willow herb and a bit of brome
I wasnt wanting to roundup it twice but i think i will as i roundupped the headlands pre harvest and that has done a good job
What rate would you use now pre muck?
@SilliamWhale what are you cultivating with, how shallow is very very shallow?
