Fibre cement roof guttering

hi. Been doing some maintenance this summer to our sheds. Changed the guttering on one steel framed building. Unfortunately when they built the shed years ago they left a very small overhang of fibre cement into the guttering. We want to put new boards up to hold the new guttering but there is only marginal overhang.
Any suggestions on ways to get the water to flow into the gutters.

Weld some cleats to the stanchions and fit 15ft lengths of galv box gutter up against the cladding sheets, doing away with the board altogether.
