Greenstar coverage switch

I'm looking at doing more documentation and currently switching colouring/shading on and leaving it running which is leaving lots of overlaps on the headlands.

So as above I'm after ideas suggestions please of a suitable switch maybe where people have placed there's, it's to go on a red tractor hence the need for a switch.

I've thought about mounting something on the side console or having a foot pedal on the floor somewhere, any help much appreciated Lee!

Haven't you got the option of section control on coverage? If so switch it on and it will turn on and off hectare meter everything it goes over covered area.

ag leaders yield monitor with the section control turned on will drop the acres covered, good for gettting accurate yield maps, or you can do it manually if you really want

lot of the features like the JD section control is a unlock, free for the first 15 hours in the display. its free on the big ag leader display

there is many options do this, depends on your situation

I've been told on my loom it's the white cable, but please don't quote me and start chopping cables about!!

Thanks , I realise it will be better to hear back from our dealer . Do you literally just run a live 12v off your machine switch to activate coverage ?
TBH it took ages for our dealer to even let on this was possible , even though we already have another machine wired up this way ( although 2600 screen )

I'm running a 2600, ams man said it was very simple:
Snip wire, cable to switch, then to earth.

Just soldered a wire into the back of the screw connector(screen side of connector) grey wire pin m.
The wire is either switched or non switched depending on how you set it from the screen.
This was on the 1800 sceen, would assume they would all be the same.

I've done this for a Techneat to colour in on the Greenstar screen but that meant cutting into the implement switch coupling on the back of my JD tractor. I used a relay so any current from the Techneat circuitry didn't meet the Greenstar make/break switch. Perhaps @CPP can tell which pin to tap into on the GS wiring loom. Is there a wiring diagram online for the 2600/2630 screen?
