Forecast doesn't look great, dammit.

Got the baler on, checked over and spent 3 hours getting the control box to strike up....
My fault...
Forked a straw bale into it to test, it's been stood for 5 years, works well.

Haven't used it yet!
It did the test bale perfectly.
Only paid £1000 for it so pleased so far!

Few things, watch the door hinges they can crack and drop the door, also the top rear roller bearing. Put one of those out at least twice. Pick up reell goes round at mack 3 so watch for stones and windows, run it just clear of the ground. Also the chain for the pickup reel will sit in crap at the front end unless u take the guard off and clean it. The pickup reel clutch is 2 sets of wedges and they can crack if you block it and let it sit rattling, 20ft+ of wheat straw could easy block it

Long time since i used one but they go well if u go steady

Carrick a rede with the rope bridge that connects it to the main land.

Sheep Island at Larrybane beside Carrick a Rede.
The saying is - it will fatten 10 sheep, feed 11 sheep and starve 12 sheep.

O'Hara's Castle, Portstewart. Better known as The Convent, attached to Domican College.

Downhill Beach, with the Templetown Mausoleum on the headland.
Between the beach and the cliffs is the main Belfast to Londonderry railway line. It is a very nice run on the railway, with a lot of great scenery. It does get used as a backdrop to the odd wedding. Even farmers seem to like it (no idea whose wedding it was).

Two very different views of the White Rocks at Portrush. The first is looking towards Portrush from Dunluce Castle. The second is from Portrush East Strand towards Dunluce on a day when there was a bit of a breeze stirring up spray and the sun was shining giving a strange rainbow effect just above the water.

Very jealous. In-laws have a cottage at bushmills. Love that part of the world. Not been for 18 months
