She's trying to outcorbyn Corbyn!(n)
But just you wait a bit. He will see her two years and raise the bet!! Fun and games on the Brexit roulette.
Brexit project gone from difficult birth to disturbed childhood into cantankerous teen years and now emerging into a more sensible young adult. Next thing you know it morphes into your cuddly uncle. All conventional and member of the golf club.
Show is over folks. Nothing more to see. Move along there. The Corbyn years are next on stage. Do please give them a rapturous applause.
I do wish you would just come out with it and state that you hope the UK will suffer and wither. We won't by the way, but that's neither here nor there to my wish for a bit of honesty from you.

Right, pub time!

On the contrary dear fellow. Want you in the warm embrace of the SM and CU! With your true friends! Auntie Angela wants to keep sending you dodgy cars, and Paddy has lots of prime beef and proper whiskey. Have a Jameson 12 tonight down the pub.

Brexit is going ahead one way or another. The die is cast. We all have to accept it. Like many decisions nobody knows the final outcome or whether it was the right decision without hindsight. I don't know. Nobody has such certainty of predictive powers that they can now say it is right or wrong. We just have to run with it and minimise the "damage".

I never ignore anybody. I enjoy WalterP and Ashtrees opinions even if I don't agree with them. All part of balanced debate. If they started agreeing with me I'd be worried.

Thank you. I don't ignore anybody. It's a juvenile response to any situation.
Brexiteers I guess outnumber the non believers by about 3 to 1 I guess in this room. I think the few of us with God on our side are doing a great job in making a game of it.

Whilst i have great respect for your opinions, unfortunately that is not the way the world works, there will be another "vote" not a referendum and kicking the can down the road to 2021 means a worse outcome, as you will pay but have no say,

The thing is, this scenario is entirely due to pressure from remainers and opportunistic political opposition.
It is entirely logical that the best deal comes from the threat of a hard Brexit.
Another possibility is, that by bending over backwards to get a deal, it will be so bad that given a referendum to accept it or leave without, we will have the hardest brexit of all.

Your argument supposes another "referendum" my suggestion is there will be several choices on the ballot paper,

Not so much of an argument as thinking aloud.
What other choices could there be?
My understanding is that article 50 can not be retracted. I am genuinely not sure the EU would allow / want the option of the UK just going back to a being a member as before.

Hmm... Wally seems a little miffed about the British PM having her travel expenses covered by the British taxpayer... yet this same dear Wally has been deafeningly silent about the hundreds of billions of pounds of British taxpayers' money that has been given to other PMs and peoples in the EU, odd that.

All the whingers whinging again, hoping the UK will fail and showing their true EUropean colours again. Quelle surprise? All as clear headed and realistic as PM to-be Vince Cable... :). The unpleasant thing is, and I am happy to be corrected if I wrong anybody here, that I can't recall any one of you stating that you wish and hope the UK well. Ah well, we - the UK - have broad shoulders and will be fine.
I wish and hope the UK does well and have said it before, the florence speach was just a room full of british, could have been done in UK,

It can only be retracted before april 1st 2019, the EU has stated however that if the UK does it only to retrigger it at a later date,it will be ignored, My understanding is the EU has said it respects the democratic decision to leave so the only way is another democratic "vote",Perhaps several options on what "relationship" there should be and if vaseline can be used during the shafting or "transition" period.

A game it certainly is, but I'm not talking about your one.

Firstly we don't know if the EU will agree to TM's proposed extension. I doubt it.
However, TM's speech cleverly shows that we are trying to be reasonable. Or does it?

Secondly, almost certainly the EU will attach strings that will make her proposal unacceptable to carry out.

Her speech today might appear to show that the UK is trying to be reasonable. In reality it shows an illusion.

TM knows full well that this proposal won't work and that we will probably be completely out of the EU in 2019, because the EU will make unreasonable demands that we will not be able to accept. But it will look better that this proposal came from us, before the EU made it impossible to come to fruition.

Yes it is a game and we are playing it rather well!

It is only really the Liberal Democrats who are proposing another referendum [at the moment], their argument being that people didn't know what the deal would be at the last vote.
The only certainties would be ;
1; Accept the deal offered by the remaining members of the EU.
or
2; Do not accept deal , trade under W.T.O and negotiate fresh agreements.

No other option would be a 'known outcome' unless explicitly offered by the EU.
I'm not sure what alternative they would be inclined to offer.
