Cheshire Ploughing Match

Wet as fudge
Wet ground or just the weather?
I was at Cructon on Saturday on admittedly a dry field and conditions were lovely.

Must admit I'm getting a bit p'd off now with the catchy weather this year, have missed a few days off due to work being more important so was planning on going to the ploughing match.

I did see some photos of the Irish ploughing match on Facebook, is it as wet as that:eek:

The ploughing would probably be ok
The show part I suspect would not

30mm rain in some areas Nr Shrewsbury last night, here we had around 1mm and 2 miles up the road bugger all, Shrewsbury is only around 25 miles away, friend said fields around Chester look pretty wet and miserable today

35mm here last night, they could have easily caught the same band of rain as us.
