I’d phone the police straight away, turn round and leave. If you’re not there, they lose their audience. And we’re five weeks into the cull here. We’ve had antis, they’ve been treated politely and ignored,

Maybe we should all wear a balaclava and go stand on a few driveways in towns and cities belonging to regular law abiding people

Wonder how the police would react ? Armed response unit within miniutes would be my guess

Are there not laws about wearing balaclavas in public places ?

The law changed in April, making it easier for the Police to remove face coverings (now without the need for signed authorisation from a senior officer).

In itself, wearing a face covering in a public place is not an offence.

Personally - I think the guy has been pushed over the edge by these waste of good oxygen louts, and due to the utterly useless approach the Rozzers take in all matters like this and simply choose to Prosecute the innocent as it is easier, it has resulted in this stand off!!!

His family were obviously in danger as he saw masked individuals coming up to attack him and he was obviously worried for their lives.
If you are on a law abiding walk in the country, not on private land - then you have nothing to hide, have you. But if you knowingly go onto private land dressed like a terrorist / bank robber etc - then I personally feel in this day and age, your going to get your just deserts!

The law needs to take a stand on these ejects - the farmer has done the right thing here in my humble opinion, as he felt threatened and defended himself.

Your too nice, we had them here last weekend in full face masks, pick axe handle in truck, luckly they had gone by the time we got there, you see, there has been a lot of farm thefts in this area just lately, and this lot may have had some frustration taken out on them, sorry but the police do sweet f a, How do you know these people are only there to suss out the farms to see what and where people keep there machines and tools.
Had our quad bike lifted a few weeks back and the neighbours gator at the exact time we had the cull here. Coincidence? I think not.
