That is John Kellys opinion. The family also have an opinion, which I haven't seen retracted.

John Kelly and his family had a terribly tragic experience losing their son in war. But, it is not relative to the bones of the phone call.

So, you've nothing to provide in the way of evidence either then?

I expect you've ignored, rather than missed, my two attempts to source something to base a decision on.
It appears to be the same words taken in different context.
Call me John. As in my name is John.
Call me, John. As in Later for a drink.
Trump meant he volunteered, he didn't have to go, not a conscript. A brave man.
Some people will see bad even when there is the intent of good.
Edit, I mean the congress woman, not you.

See here is the rub.

From what I've read the family say they are offended by what Trump said, plus they have backed up the congress woman's account of the phone exchange.

Kelly has offered his opinion on what he thought Trump meant to say, among many other things Kelly said which to get to the bones of the thing (the phone conversation) weren't relevant.

I don't agree that because Kelly gave an opinion that that renders the other sides opinion null & void. To his credit, he advised Trump not to call, which would with the benefit of hindsight been the best thing to do.

Trump makes Dubya look eloquent . Not surprising he is misunderstood. Still think he was deliberately taken out of context.

A Gold Star mother pointed out in a video she made, that it's not a single incident..... Figure I'll stick to my opinion until the facts say otherwise. The people defending him work for him, it's like taking advice from a car salesman. Trump loudly proclaimed he had evidence, I haven't seen it. He said he had Comey tapes too, haven't seen them either.

If I've missed something important, I'm happy to look at it, but at the moment I'm happy with my current position.

Yes, I saw it. They hate him, end of. Nothing he will ever do will ever be right.
I'm not a fan of Trump, but this time he's being stitched up.
We'll just have to differ on this one.

Trump certainly seems to have a thing about Islam. A racist? Hey ho.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-41695667

Could somebody tell me if "amid" means "due to" or "because of" ?

The bloke could just of easily tweeted....
"UK crime has fallen 13% amid the spread of radical Islamic terror", and not been wrong, if the relevent figures backed it up.

In fact.

The only thing he got wrong was to put UK and not England and Wales.

When you have read the in depth article regarding the Uranium one deal involving The Russians, The Clintons, Obama and Robert Mueller you understand why the Bolshevik establishment on both sides of the Atlantic are desperate to destroy Trump.......................before he legitimately destroys them for their criminality............as I believe he will.
Any angle they can create to attack the President then they will and indeed do, whether its bogus or not. No praise or any apologies will be given to him. And to assist the bogus press there are an army of vested interests promoting propaganda on various forums across the western world (including this one).

And I repeat, The Goldstar widow has released the telephone conversation with the President and it was decent and heartfelt.
There are lots of "nasty pieces of work" around and Trump isn't one of them, perhaps those who suggest he is should look in the mirror !!

from what I understand the call was recorded and this congresswoman was there, that makes me suspiscious as to the intentions. I think the only sure thing from this is that in everything these days there are forces at work trying to influence people one way or another, the truth is so deeply hidden its very hard to find, for the normal person in the street that is not good news

Why would a strong critic of President Trump be listening in on a phone conversation between the President and the wife of a fallen hero....?

There are no depths that certain members of congress and 90% of the media will not go to try and belittle our President, smart though they think are, in reality it has the opposite effect, they are seen for what they are by the average citizen across the country.
The democratic party and its supporters from Hollywood to the elitist movement in Washington are in the wilderness, with a diminished base and no real leaders........and sad to say, for many, no integrity.

A smart politician would have let it play out with not commenting...but its a no holds barred mentalitaity at the moment, they lost and election they werent meant to lose...

They are really setting themselves up for long term failure as when the next democrat leader takes office...they have taught the the repubs every dirty trick in the book...and will be no doubt subjected to it just as much as trump has had it...and te repubs can always refer back now and say well you did it when trump was president.

These people are stupid, smart people would have said lets find another candidate, get a new message and go in with a strong campaign at next election...and let trump implode himself...if he does a good job well atleast hes fixing some problems you wont have to deal with....

It just shows how self indulgent these idiots are...and they are the ones imploding, terror attacks and hollywoods pedogate..with a few finally waking up to how crooked hillary is, sinking there ship at a rapid rate.
