Trimble 750 plus Ez Steer adjustments

Any tips on getting my Ez Steer to get on line quicker when turning into work.
It is on a 24m Housham Sprint . I only go once around the headland and find that I need to be virtually bang online before engaging the Ez Steer or I have to back up towards the hedge to give it enough lead in distance.
I don't want to have to spray two headland turns which would sort the problem.

I've got an ez steer with a 750 which I swap between an MF6499 and combine. I'm afraid it doesn't matter what job I'm on or how wide the machine, I have to be nearly
on line before pressing the button or it wanders about while trying to get on line. I've fiddled with aggressiveness but to no real avail. I think it's because there is no steering sensor to tell it where the front wheels are pointing which there is on my other tractor with full auto steer.

If your not 0.02 or less it will oversteer in both directions before eventually getting on line , no adjustment to help

You could try movi

ng the antenna front and up as far as possible.
Neighbors might laugh but you will smile,

I have had similar problems with the setup on my Bateman. I have now improved it by changing the boom position from rear to front with a setting of 0 (rather than 640cm to the rear) It is now much much better. Obviously if you are using it for section control then it is best not to do this.
