Honda ATC three wheelers

Just thinking about your Q about me posting on this thread & my replies. I'm assuming you are the very young fellow in the picture earlier, not an old man like me. I will pose a Q to you. If you are doing these three wheelers up to sell do you know their safety history? Do you know why their sales were banned in the past? They were banned because they were outrightly dangerous. I wonder if you put this in writing to your customers? In real life the no-win-no-fee lawyers will look for ANY loophole if there's a serious accident relating to unsafe machinery. I'm no expert expert but I'd be treading very carefully with your sales blurb relating to the potential mishaps that can occur with these machines. Other more knowledgeable folk may be able to shed more light on this. I'd not want to sell this type of machine to folk & live with my conscience if they then had a serious accident, knowing their history. Simples. Think about it. Conscience is worth more than money in the long run

So why was the trike banned? You can get into more difficulties in a 4 wheeler agreed as it is almost unstoppable, so when it does you are really in a pickle:LOL:. Possibly the 3 wheeler is more easily tipped in anger hence more accidents. Along with it being a very early form of mini x country transport & the focus of those-who-look-at-this-type-of-thing.

If dangerous machines shouldn't be sold then I suggest we ban the sales of sports bikes, motor crossers, shotguns and chainsaws....
Oh and kitchen knives.
Have you any idea how many injuries are caused by kitchen knives each year?
They're inherently dangerous.

This bloke mainly.

Trikes are less stable when cornering, less stable when braking and less stable when accelerating.
They were fun but 2 or 4 wheels are safer.

The money for a quad now though I'd be fitting fatty tyres to my Dad's old x-trail.

Well they were banned which was unusual & sets a different precedence & personally I'd not like to re-sell one on with this in mind. Sports bikes, motor-crossers haven't been banned so no issue. OK, plenty of folk maim themselves on these each year but they haven't been banned.
On the other hand knives in nearly any shape or form have been banned & buying a nice hand-made outdoor type knife will become a difficult thing to purchase, particularly if the personal hand-over rule is made law. But I digress......
Don't mention shot-guns. Ask several on this forum about their problems....Dryrot for one. Me, I've got rid. No more probs. Get someone else to do the shooting & no costs!
