Just switched the pump on for a few moments to check it was not frozen

After waiting nearly two weeks for the crank out of the 6310 got a call from the machine shop to say it’s to far gone Managed to source a new one so hopefully should land soon.
Then got a call from the airport to say one of the “operators” (I use that term loosely!) has snapped a lump of the pump on the de-icing rig that’s the second time in 18 months!
Anyway about an hour later this landed in the workshop as they desperate for it.
As luck woud have I had a manifold on the shelf from a pump I inherited
So it was just a case of trying to repair the accumulator.
It’s not pretty but should do the job.
Then did some modding to move it so hopefully won’t happen again.

Is'nt it a lovely feeling - looking at the new life, and the sense of relief and pride! Then the satisfaction of the first steps, the first suck, the first run round the pen. It did not matter how many times I saw it, it was always a good feeling.

Had to take that part for crane back as well
