This leave thing is a UK gig, it's up to the UK to make it happen, surely?
I totally agree but the EU are still playing at ostriches because they have not picked up on the fact that a very large proportion of UK residents (permanent) think that we should walk away with no deal rather than be insulted by such a jumped up load of arrogant bureaucrats. Two can play with bullying tactics and it will benefit nobody, least of all the remaining EU members.

My UK tax bill next month is circa quarter of a mill. I buy my opinion if nothing else:p
You cannot buy opinions and assume that others have no right to theirs. In order to pay that amount of tax you are in a very priveleged position but that does not mean that the UK owes you anything and since your self inflicted and self confessed exile you have made your bed........

I know I am in a privileged position, which I accept may be part of why I would of preferred to maintain the status quo (I saw The Quo in Leicester back in 74 :)). I am more than happy with my bed thank you.
We have a different picture of current UK. You see kids fishing for crabs on the Norfolk que. as I did but now I see home bred lazy dole scum in Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham etc etc (veg wholesale markets were never sites in nice places)

I fair number aren't 'home stock', most of those that are have been forged into being an underclass by big business and liberal ideals.

Not just a British problem. Banlieue?

You see a benevolent EU, we see an unaccountable dictatorship. Wind up you affairs here and revel in your new home, we'll wallow in our self-imposed democracy and struggle on. ;)

Dry today... back to work.

Yes, desperately trying too. Had the same acct for 20 years although nothing complicated to deal with for 15.
Then trying to tidy up move on has been an unbelievable long and complicated affair. Then, mid way through I find he supports farage, ukip and brexit!!!!!. You can just imagine where my confidence lies:(.
Still, I am where I am, can't change tack now and hopefully a couple more years (4 years into a 6 year process) and I can be free of the chains :)

Pompous JRM (never ever had a day’s measurable responsibility, since he was born into his silver spooned privelaged status in life), does a “jolly good”, hatchet job on that tiresome commoner leading the Brexit negotiations. With colleagues like Pompous JRM, who needs opponents the EU side like Barnier.

Nevertheless DD must have been less than impressed at being tackled from behind by one of his own. Being tackled from any angle by an Old Etonian has to disconcerting at any time. But when the old fart is on your own team it must be doubly so.
JRM needs to get himself a little job somewhere in the administration. Just so as to get to know what it’s like.

Is this the same big business and liberal ideals that have delivered record employment and record low unemployment?
On this front, nothing will change with Brexit, the racists still won't win and a return to nationalised industries still won't happen.
